Vision 

      Vision: The vision for Bamberg-Ehrhardt High School's library media program is based on 3 central ideas:
collaboration, leadership, and technology. This vision is supported by the following key elements:
         1) Mission Statements
         2) Belief Statements
         3) Goals and Objectives

            Mission:  The Bamberg-Ehrhardt High School Media center ensures that students, faculty and staff are effective users of ideas and information.  A graduate professional librarian and trained staff select, purchase, classify, organize and provide access to materials in all formats such as but not limited to print, non-print, periodicals, books, videos, electronic materials and software.  The staff members present instruction to create interests in reading, viewing  and using both educational and recreational information to foster information literacy.  The team provides curriculum support by working collaboratively with educators, parents, and students to establish a partnership that promotes intellectual freedom and commits making the media center the hub for learning.

Goals
To provide a school library media program that is fully integrated into the curriculum and
assists students in becoming effective users of ideas and information.
Objectives
Objective 1: The teachers, administrators, school library media specialist, and other members of the school community will collaborate to achieve the full integration of the library media program into the curriculum.
Objective 2: The school library media program will provide open and equal access to information and resources needed to support the mission of the library media center.
Objective 3: The school library media center collection of resources and materials will be current and of sufficient quality and quantity to meet the information and reading needs of the students and staff.
Objective 4: The school library media specialist will promote literacy through support of the National Information Literacy Standards for Student Learning.
Objective 5: The school library media center will have appropriate funding and adequate staff and facilities essential to accomplish the mission of the school library media program.
