People Past and Present Part 1The American Library Association created this site to provide children of all ages and their families with relevant historical facts about people from the past and present times. These facts are explored through the categories of Individual and Collective Biographies, Cultures of the World, World History, United States History, and United States History: Pre-Colonial to 1865. Also included in this site are other links for young people to explore. Other categories included are sites for librarians and schools, parents and caregivers, and criteria for great websites. LibertyThe Utah Education Network explores the many historic places that can be considered links to the past.
